The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the delegation led by the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Al-Mazrui. The issues of further strengthening of strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the acceleration of large investment projects in the fields of energy, transport, logistics and high technologies were discussed at the meeting.

At the beginning of the conversation, the head of the UAE delegation conveyed to the head of state the sincere greetings and best wishes of the country’s president Sheikh Mohammed Al Nahyan, Prime Minister and Emir of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum, Vice President Sheikh Mansour Al Nahyan and Crown Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khalid Al Nahyan. delivered.

During the meeting, it was noted that the strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE are rapidly developing in the following years. The volume of trade between the parties, the flow of investments and the number of joint ventures are steadily increasing.

It was also noted that it is planned to sign a number of new agreements with the leading companies of the UAE within the framework of the Fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum.

During the negotiations, an agreement was reached on accelerating the implementation of large joint projects in “green” energy, production of modern fuels, development of transport and logistics infrastructure, introduction of artificial intelligence technologies, digitization, and other prospective directions.
