Cat and heat: When does summer become dangerous?

Let’s look at some of these dogs and the incredible characteristics that make them truly unique.

    What makes a dog strong?

A dog’s strength does not depend only on its size. Many factors contribute to how strong he is, such as his muscle mass, build, stamina, bite force and the purpose for which his race has been bred.

The main factors that determine a dog’s strength are:

–Muscle mass: Dogs with large muscle mass can exert more force.

–Size and weight: Bigger and heavier dogs usually have more physical strength.

–Bone structure (the way an organism’s bones are “built”—that is, the shape, size, density, and overall arrangement of the skeleton—: A strong frame along with well-built joints help the dog to use its strength effectively.

–Resistance: Strength is not only about intensity but also about duration. Dogs with a lot of stamina can move for long periods of time without becoming exhausted.

–Bite force: In some races, jaw strength is an additional element of their overall strength.

In short, a strong dog combines physical strength, endurance, sturdy build and working abilitieselements that have often been cultivated through many generations of selective breeding.

Let’s look at 7 of the strongest dogs in the world.

    Rottweiler

The ancestors of the Rottweiler were the dogs used by the Roman legions to guide and guard their animals as they crossed the Alps.

The Rottweiler is a large dog with a combination of beauty and strength. His strong and muscular body can reach a weight of 60 kg. Anyone who has the energy and stamina to keep up with him, this brilliant, calm, loyal but brave dog can make an excellent pet. Next to such a dog you never get hurt as he has an appetite for everything.

    Saint Bernard

These magnificent and powerful dogs are very large – they can reach 80 kg. And despite their impressive size, they are known as the gentle giants of the Swiss Alps.

Excellent with children, St. Bernard dogs were originally bred by monks in the Swiss Alps to rescue travelers in peril—they might help extricate a person from a dangerous situation—as well as guard duties. Although they are still used in search and rescue operations, this beloved breed is also well-suited to family life.

    Great Dane

Despite his imposing size, the Great Dane is kind, affectionate and protective of his family. Muscular and strong, it can reach up to 50 kg. As for his height, if he stands on his hind legs, he is taller than most people.

The breed comes from hunting dogs that were used for wild boar huntingwhich is why her hunting instinct is still strong.

What you need to know about this gentle giant is that he should exercise at least two hours a day.

    German Shepherd

Brave, intelligent and extremely strong, the German Shepherd can do many things as it is used in a multitude of roles, such as in the police, as an assistance dog – trained as a guide dog for the blind – in military missions, in search and rescue operations, as well as in the detection of drugs and explosives.

This race she is known for her devotion and for not hesitating to even put her life in danger to protect the people he loves.

And these dogs need plenty of exercise every day.

    English Mastiff

The English Mastiff is considered one of the largest and strongest dog breeds, combining enormous strength with a calm and loyal character. With a history dating back to ancient Rome, these dogs were once used as protectors and warriorsthus highlighting their fearless and powerful nature.

Their characteristic is that they can exceed 80 kg. But these are wonderful, calm and very tender creatures that they are especially patient with small children. This is why they are called “gentle giants”.

    Doberman Pinscher

The largest of the pinschers, the doberman, named after Friedrich Louis Dobermann, a German tax collector who wanted a dog that was super smart, fast, strong, with threatening appearance for his work to protect him and deter thieves.

These dogs really are very intelligent and train without problems. This combination of intelligence and trainable nature has made them particularly popular with the armed forces and police. At the same time, this elegant and powerful dog can also be an excellent family pet.

The Doberman Pinscher does not come from a single breed but is result of selective crossbreeding of several breeds in late 19th century Germany.

The main breeds believed to have contributed to its creation are: Rottweiler for strength, protectiveness and endurance, German Pinscher for intelligence and agility, Greyhound for speed and athletic ability, Weimaraner for hunting instincts and endurance and Manchester Terrier for alertness and agility

    Dogo Argentino

The Dogo Argentino is a muscular, intelligent and strong breed that was developed in Argentina to hunt large game such as wild boar. With a weight that reaches up to 50 kg, this dog combines athleticism with an elegant white coat, things that give it an imposing and impressive appearance.

Despite its hunting origins, the Dogo Argentino is a loyal and protective family companion, developing strong bonds with its people.
