This meeting took place in the presence of local authorities, elected officials, heads of decentralized services, as well as representatives of the associative fabric and social and economic actors of the province of Béni Mellal.
This session was devoted to the presentation and examination of a set of projects proposed for the year 2026. In total, ten projects were submitted for approval to the committee for a total budget of nearly 9.66 million dirhams. The contribution from the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) Fund amounts to 6.3 million dirhams, while the mobilized partners contribute 3.36 million dirhams.
In his speech, the wali of the region recalled the context in which these projects take place, stressing that they were developed in line with the orientations of the Integrated Territorial Development Plan of the province of Béni Mellal. He also indicated that their design takes into account the provisions of the guidance note relating to the implementation of INDH programs for the year 2026 as well as the joint circular relating to operations to support schooling.
On this occasion, Mr. Benribag called for increased mobilization and continued efforts in order to achieve the set objectives. He insisted on the need to accelerate the completion of scheduled projects, while ensuring that the conditions guaranteeing their success and the sustainability of their services are met, through the strengthening of professionalism and efficiency in management and execution.
The approved projects concern in particular the development and equipment work of the education and training centers of Aït Tislit in Béni Mellal, as well as those of Naour and Aghbala. They also concern support for the operation and management of the multipurpose social center, as well as support for the youth training caravan in the commune of Aghbala.
The program also provides for the strengthening of the management of reception, listening and orientation spaces, support for school transport at the provincial level, the creation of a learning and professional training center in Ighrem El Allam, as well as the rehabilitation of student houses located in the mountainous areas of the province of Béni Mellal.
At the end of its work, the Provincial Human Development Committee unanimously approved all the projects on the agenda for this fourth session of the year 2026.
These projects illustrate the constant commitment of the National Initiative for Human Development to reduce social and territorial disparities, while strengthening the mechanisms for economic inclusion of young people and vulnerable populations. They also reflect the desire of the various partners to promote sustainable human development, based on the improvement of living conditions, equal opportunities and the development of human capital as an essential lever for the development of the province of Béni Mellal.
