The Chairman of the Beni Ubaid Municipal Committee, Riyad Al-Jarrah, discussed, on Monday, with a number of residents of the Al-Nuaima area, the most prominent service and development demands and needs that concern the region, during an extensive inspection tour that began early in the morning to see the reality of services on the ground.
Al-Jarrah listened, in the presence of the accompanying technical and engineering team, to a number of demands from the people, which focused mainly on developing infrastructure services, most notably the maintenance of dilapidated streets, the opening and paving of vital and agricultural roads, in addition to installing new lighting units and making the necessary patches for traffic problems in the area.
During the meeting, Al-Jarrah confirmed the municipality’s full response to these demands, stressing that all problems and observations raised by the residents will be addressed and implemented by the municipality immediately and through its field cadres, especially with regard to patchwork and immediate lighting work.
In a related context, the Chairman of the Committee instructed the technical and field teams to immediately begin implementing the scheduled maintenance work, opening the agreed-upon agricultural roads, and installing lighting units.
Al-Jarrah and the team accompanying him also announced that, based on the arrangements made, work on spreading asphalt mixtures and asphalt work will actually begin as of tomorrow, Tuesday, in a way that ensures improving the reality of services provided to citizens in the region and meeting their aspirations.
