She declared Administrative prosecution An urgent investigation was opened into an incident circulated on social media related to a preparatory education official in the Education Directorate in Qalyubia Governorate. He appeared in a video clip bargaining with a student’s guardian in exchange for intervention to change her daughter’s result from failure to success.
A statement issued by the Media and Monitoring Center of the Administrative Prosecution, today, Wednesday, explained that the investigation came in implementation of the directives of Counselor Mohamed El-Shenawy, following the monitoring of the circulating clip, which also included the issuance of indecent language by the aforementioned official, and behavior inconsistent with the requirements of public office.
The statement added that Counselor Sherif Adly Gad referred the incident to an urgent investigation, where the investigation was initiated by Chief Prosecutor Mamdouh Al-Sayed, and decided to summon a number of specialists from the Qalyubia Directorate of Education to hear their statements regarding the incident.
The prosecution is also following up on the implementation of the Qalyubia Governor’s decision to suspend the official shown in the video clip from work until the investigations are completed.
The Administrative Prosecution confirmed that investigations are still underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident and take the necessary legal measures.
