For her part, Vice President of the Jordanian Environment Society, Rabia Al-Momani, said that rehabilitating the vicinity of the springs and creating suitable facilities for visitors reduces the incidence of random walking and the accompanying waste or practices that affect the environment, stressing the importance of preserving the vegetation and green spaces, which constitute one of the most prominent elements of tourist attraction in Ajloun.

Tourist guide Issa Al-Sharaa pointed out that the developed natural sites are attracting local, Arab and foreign visitors, especially those characterized by flowing water and wide views, indicating that many tourists are keen to visit these sites, take pictures and enjoy the natural atmosphere, which contributes to stimulating the tourist movement and prolonging the visitor’s stay in the governorate.

Member of the “Environment Unites Us” initiative, Ratib Al-Qudah, said that Ajloun Governorate is replete with many springs and natural sites that need further development and equipping with service facilities, noting the importance of delivering road and electricity services to those sites and encouraging young people to establish small tourism projects that contribute to revitalizing the local economy and providing job opportunities.

Member of the “Our Tourism is the Address of Our Wealth” initiative, Abdullah Al Qubaisi, confirmed that developing natural springs and views according to an integrated investment and tourism vision will turn them into attractive landmarks throughout the year, noting that many countries have succeeded in transforming similar sites into major tourist destinations by providing appropriate services, tourist itineraries, and recreational activities.
