Yesterday, Tuesday, His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, visited Playground Global, a leader in early investment in emerging companies specialized in the field of technology.
At the company’s headquarters in California, His Highness discussed the possibility of cooperation and expanding the company’s investment opportunities in Jordan, pointing to the investment advantages in the Kingdom and the role of the National Council for Future Technology in supporting the establishment of highly efficient technological projects.
His Highness the Crown Prince stated that Jordan has produced distinguished competencies in the technology sector over the past years, and that work is continuing to develop educational curricula to keep pace with developments in this sector, which strengthens the Kingdom’s position, expands opportunities for its youth, and achieves innovative technological solutions.
During the visit, the possibility of developing advanced technical talent in Jordan in the fields of semiconductors, quantum computing, robotics, and bioengineering was discussed.
During a tour of the company, His Highness viewed models of the uses of robotics technology that were developed in the company, and models formed using 3D printing technology.
During the visit, His Highness was accompanied by the Jordanian Ambassador to Washington, Dina Kawar, and the Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince, Dr. Zaid Al-Baqa’in.
