Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced the details of the memorandum between Tehran and Washington during a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. “Armenpress”IRNA news agency reports this.
“During the conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister explained the details of the memorandum and noted that the responsibility for the proper implementation of its provisions rests with the United States,” the publication said.
It is noted that Araghchi also emphasized the importance of the “complete cessation” of Israel’s military operations against Lebanon.
According to IRNA, the ministers agreed on the need to continue diplomatic cooperation with the countries of the region in order to stabilize the situation and strengthen security.
