The National Bureau of Meteorology warned, in a special bulletin regarding the weather conditions for Wednesday, of very heavy rain falling across several states.
The bulletin, which carried a level two warning, stated that the provinces affected by the rainfall are: Tiaret, Laghouat, Tissemsilt, Ain Defla, Medea, Djelfa, Ouled Jalal, Biskra, M’sila, Bouira, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Setif, Mila, Batna, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela and Tebessa.
The amount of precipitation ranges between 20 and 30 mm, and may reach or exceed 40 mm locally.
The newsletter is valid from two o’clock in the afternoon until two o’clock in the morning tomorrow, Thursday.

Warning: Thunderstorms and strong winds across these states
This morning, the National Meteorological Bureau warned in a weather bulletin of thunderstorms and strong winds across several states.
The bulletin, which carried a level one alert, reported that the rains would affect the states of: Timimoun, Laghouat, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Ghardaia, M’Sila, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Tiaret, Tamanrasset, Oum El Bouaghi, Tebessa and In Salah.
The alert also included the states of: Batna, Setif, Djanet, Djelfa, Illizi, Menia, Khenchela, Medea, Biskra, Adrar, Saida, Naama and Ouled Jalal.
The bulletin also warned of strong winds blowing in the states of: Tipaza, Chlef, Mostaganem, El Bayadh, Naama and Bechar.
It is expected that the bulletin will be valid from three in the afternoon until midnight.
