His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the Group of Seven (G7) summit, at the invitation of His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron, President of the friendly French Republic, and in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies, leaders of states, heads of government, delegations, and senior officials from member states and invited countries, at the Royal Hotel in the French city of Evian-les-Bains yesterday.
His Highness participated in the working session held under the title “Overcoming Crises and Promoting Stability in the Middle East,” during which ways were discussed to enhance cooperation and support dialogue paths, in a way that contributes to establishing stability and consolidating the foundations of regional and international security, in addition to discussing efforts aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz and ensuring the smooth flow of international navigation and trade.
The session was also attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, Head of the Amiri Diwan, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Emir.
After that, His Highness the Emir and the accompanying official delegation attended the luncheon hosted by His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron, in honor of Their Excellencies the leaders of countries and heads of member governments and the invitees.
