The public prosecutor’s office had also previously requested that Bruel be taken into custody. According to the singer’s lawyer, the judge did not comply with this request. Bruel remains at large under the supervision of the judiciary.
The 67-year-old rejects all allegations. He “never forced a woman,” Bruel said on Instagram last month. At the same time, he canceled all concerts planned until September.
