Operatives of the Dushanbe criminal investigation department identified and detained the participants in the incident of bullying a person with a disability. The reason for the inspection was a video recording that received wide resonance on social networks.
How reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Dushanbe, residents of Gissar were detained: the driver of an AION electric car, Komron Mirzoev, who works as a taxi driver, and a minor, K. Ya.
The investigation found that on April 7 of this year, young people showed disrespect towards a man with disabilities. In a video circulated on social networks, a teenager mocks a disabled man sitting in a taxi, committing indecent acts towards him.
“With their immoral behavior, they grossly violated public order, humiliating the honor and dignity of a person with disabilities,” noted the capital’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the moment, all collected materials on the fact of the offense have been transferred to the law enforcement agencies of the city of Gissar to take legal measures against the detainees.
In connection with the incident, law enforcement agencies appeal to citizens to observe ethical standards and show respect for people with disabilities. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also recommends refraining from further distribution of videos containing offensive and degrading content.
