Dancing, competitions and vitamins. Tajiks spent the spring at the “Salom, Tobiston!” festival.

On May 29, the traditional annual children’s festival “Salom, Tobiston!” took place in the Bogi Iram (Botanical Garden) in Dushanbe. Games, music, dancing, goodies and much more before the start of summer were organized for the children and their parents by the Asia-Plus media group and the Obi Zulol company.

The festival took place under the canopy of numerous trees and shrubs of the Botanical Garden, so the festival guests were comfortable having fun, not paying attention to the May sun.

By the beginning of the festival (14:00), a lot of guests had gathered, who were already in full readiness to spend spring and welcome summer. The event area was quite vast, and the music came not only from the stage, where the presenters charged everyone with energy, but also from other places.

The official part began with welcoming words from the executive director of Asia-Plus, Manizhi Anvari, and the general partner of the celebration, a representative of the Obi Zulol company. And then it was time for real fun and adrenaline rush.

    Magic on stage

The children’s dance group “Jasmine” was the first to perform on stage for the guests. Both boys and girls, as well as their parents, began to dance to the sounds of their favorite national tunes. Throughout the holiday, both Tajik songs and modern foreign hits were played, to which the children sang along: songs from children’s cartoons, hits popular among children and teenagers.

In between dances, presenters Andrei Sokolov and Lola Abdunazarova held fun competitions with prizes. Children, their mothers and fathers were tested for ingenuity, vocal abilities and other skills. There were so many people who wanted to win prizes from our partners that it was impossible to get to the stage at these moments.

Another form of art that festival guests enjoyed was the performance of puppet theater artists.

Known to all fans of summer camps and fun, Siva Jalilov and his team presented their program. This time the boys had to compete against the girls in resourcefulness. The kids sang to familiar tracks, guessed melodies and competed in their knowledge of the school curriculum. The most fearless parents also tried their luck. Again, there was a reason for it – delicious gifts from the partners of our celebration.

    Tasty and active

Meanwhile, other interesting events took place at other festival locations. Boys and girls of all ages competed in chess games, played checkers, football, jumped on trampolines and even played badminton.

After dancing and releasing energy, we could relax by drawing, assembling robots or construction sets, sculpting figures and more. It was possible to paint not only a sheet of paper, but also yourself – thanks to face art.

And so that festival guests could recuperate without leaving the holiday, our faithful partners provided a large assortment of products for sale – snacks, pizza, hot dogs, sambusa, soft drinks, ice cream, sweets and much more. You could even buy useful vitamins.

At the same time, volunteers of the youth network of the NGO “Equal to Equal” monitored the cleanliness of the territory of the Botanical Garden throughout the entire holiday.

“Asia-Plus” expresses its deep gratitude for supporting the festival “Salom, Tobiston!” general partner “Obi Zulol”, official partner – company “Lindavit”, partners: Krember company, Mava Tea, supermarket chain “Yovar”, “Dodo Pizza Tajikistan”, Pokiza company, Chef Doner cafe, as well as the team of Siva Jalilov.

The following also helped us organize the holiday: the Sardor company, the IT school for children Kiberone, the Kid’s Craft store, the RobX robotics and programming school, the Megachips company, the international school of sports and educational robotics “League of Robots”, Art Hona, the Cosmo Land recreational center, the Juventus Academy, Fresh Mix, the Rohat company, as well as the Foram cafe.
