TAP is currently flying to half of Brazil’s 26 international airports and, by the end of the year, will start heading to Curitiba, further south, and São Luís do Maranhão, in the Northeast, reaching 15 destinations; in most connections, it makes the connection between the Europe and Brazil exclusively. The management of the Portuguese airline sees room for further strengthening of the interatlantic relationship, it even has increases already planned on two routes, and the non-executive president believes that the new shareholder, be it the German Lufthansa or the French Air France-KLM (the two companies that are in rush to buy up 49.9% of capital), will contribute to this impulse.
