Last Saturday, Tran Thanh Ngoc, a student at Thong Nhat Middle School, discovered a handbag while walking along the street.
Upon opening the bag and discovering a large amount of cash inside, Ngoc immediately brought the bag to the Long An Ward police station.
After verifying the case, police identified T.Q.K. as the person who had lost the bag.
Ngoc handed it back to him at the station.
Police also praised Ngoc’s honesty and publicized the act to encourage integrity and responsibility among young people.
