    The legal protection of public property in the law controlling and protecting public property” is the focus of a lecture within the spring session of the National Council


    Martyr Al-Hafiz, June 8, 2026 (SPS) – Today, Monday, the work of the spring session of the National Council continued with the presentation of a number of educational lectures directed to members of the National Council.

    The Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of oversight, inspection, protection of public property, and the relationship with Parliament, Mr. Fadali Ali Boya, gave a lecture centered on the protection of public property, in the presence of members of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, Mr. Bashir Mustafa Al-Sayyed, the official of the Secretariat of Political Organization, Mr. Amrabeh Al-Mami Al-Day, a number of members of the government and the National Council, governors, and a number of secretaries of ministries and executives from various national institutions.

    The day of the spring session began with a speech by a member of the National Secretariat, President of the National Council, in which he expressed his mercy on the souls of the righteous martyrs, recalling their sacrifices for the sake of liberation, and renewing the pledge to continue the path of the national struggle and preserve the secretariat.

    The lecture was titled “Legal Protection of Public Property in the Law of Control and Protection of Public Property.”

    It discussed the legal framework regulating the protection of public property, the concept of public property, controls over its disposal, and mechanisms for protecting it from various forms of infringement or illegal exploitation, highlighting the role of oversight bodies and their integration in preserving public money.

    The lecturer also stressed the importance of legal responsibility in protecting public property and consolidating the principles of transparency and accountability, considering public property as a national wealth and a collective right of the people.

    For his part, the President of the National Council appreciated the lecture and its contents, stressing that respecting the laws and preserving public property is a collective responsibility, calling for strengthening the culture of respect for public property and not acting outside what is stipulated in the Property Protection Law as it belongs to the people.

    The lecture witnessed a number of interventions that appreciated their importance in enhancing the legal understanding of public property and establishing a culture of respect for the law. (SPA)
