Farzona Emomali, head of the Department of Reforms, Primary Health Care and International Relations of the Ministry of Health of Tajikistan, became a candidate of medical sciences, having successfully defended her thesis on the topic “Modern aspects of medical and social services for children and adolescents in medical centers.”
How reports the Ministry of Health of TajikistanFarzona’s dissertation, carried out under the supervision of Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Zoir Nabiev, is devoted to improving primary health care and introducing integrated medical and social services for children and adolescents in medical centers in Tajikistan.
The scientific work notes that children’s health depends on many factors, such as the social status of the family, the level of education of parents and access to medical services. These aspects have an impact on the child’s personality development, and the development of effective models of care is of great importance.
Farzona’s research activities are reflected in 15 scientific articles, 9 of which are directly related to the topic of her dissertation, the Ministry of Health emphasized.
Farzona Emomali, the youngest daughter of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, was born on July 4, 1998 in Dushanbe. After graduating from high school, she entered the branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Lyceum in Dushanbe, graduating with honors in 2014.
In the same year, she entered the medical faculty of the Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibn Sino, from which she graduated in 2020, also with honors. In 2022, she completed clinical residency in pediatrics, and in 2023 she graduated with honors from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan with a degree in public administration.
Since 2021, Farzona Emomali has been working in the apparatus of the Ministry of Health. In August 2025 she was appointed head of the Reform DepartmentPrimary Health Care and International Relations Ministry.
