    Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) — The whole country is overflowing with the love and blessing of the benevolent father, who puts forward the schoolchildren as a pleasure and pride of the country and brings them the greatest honour and happiness, on the occasion of the 80th foundation anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union (June 6).

    The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un met on June 6 the representatives from Korean Children’s Union organizations participating in the celebrations of the anniversary.

    When he arrived at the venue for the photo session, the schoolchildren felt so happy that they broke into cheers of “Hurrah!”

    The fatherly Marshal extended warm congratulations to the KCU members who attended the celebrations on behalf of all the KCU organizations of the country.

    The course of the development of the KCU with its glorious history and tradition features a proud journey of having glorified the Workers’ Party of Korea’s idea of the Juche-oriented children’s movement and leadership exploits and firmly prepared the rising generations as pillars of socialist Korea, he said, adding that it is the greatest strength and pride for our Party, state and people to have a revolutionary children’s organization steadily inheriting the mind of pure loyalty and patriotism.

    From the bright and cheerful looks of the new generation and their beautiful and noble ideological and moral qualities, our Party and people are getting indomitable strength and redoubled courage to overcome any trials and difficulties cheerfully, he said, adding with emotion that the bold spirit and dynamic footsteps of the KCU members growing up to be pillars for building a powerful country while flying high the flag of the KCU represent the strong breath and bright future of the country advancing nonstop.

    He said that future Korea belongs to the KCU members and that our Party and people have shouldered the heavy burden of creation and construction for amazing changes and progress despite all sorts of difficulties and determinedly carried it into effect in order to hand down the strongest and most beautiful country to the coming generations. And he asked the KCU members to study hard and strive to become fine revolutionary and patriotic talents who will demonstrate the DPRK as the best country with their high ambition and ideal, iron will and wisdom.

    Wishing happiness always to the KCU members, the future of socialist Korea, our powerful country, he had a photo session with the representatives.

    The future of our country will be boundlessly bright and rosy as the new generations are growing up to be the masters of the future, holding Marshal Kim Jong Un in high esteem as their benevolent father. -0-
