Mouloudia Oran and its guest, USM Alger, brought down the curtain on the 2025-2026 football season, with a positive draw (2-2) in the match that brought them together at Miloud Haddi Stadium, within the 30th and final round of the First Professional League.
With this draw, Al-Hamrawa finished the season in fourth place with 49 points, while USM Alger came in tenth place with 39 points.
In another match played today, the confrontation between Olympic Agbo and Najm Ben Aknoun ended in a draw (1-1), allowing the two teams to end the season in an honorable position and ensure their survival in the elite division.
Mouloudia Algiers won the championship title during the 28th round, achieving its third title in a row and the tenth in its history, joining the runner-up in the golden record of the competition, shared equally with CS Belouizdad, behind JS Kabylie, which holds the record with 14 titles.
Yesterday, CS Saoura also secured second place in the standings and participation in the CAF Champions League next season, while CS Belouizdad will participate in the CAF Cup after finishing the season in third place. As for the Algerian Federation, it will be the second representative of Algeria in the same continental competition, as it won the historic double (the Algerian Cup and the Confederation Cup).
At the bottom of the standings, Paradou Club, Esperance Mostaganem, and Mouloudia El Bayadh were relegated to the second league, to be replaced by three rising clubs: Chabab Al-Abyar, Ittihad Biskra, and Chabab Tamouchent.
