Al-Iman Governmental Hospital in Ajloun Governorate, in cooperation with the Abin-Abilin Community Health Committee and a number of youth, cultural, religious and security institutions, organized the annual national blood donation campaign for the hospital’s blood bank as part of the governorate’s Independence Day celebrations and under the slogan: A drop of blood saves a life.
Director of Al-Iman Governmental Hospital, Dr. Abdul Khaleq Annab, said that the campaign embodies the values of solidarity, cooperation and social responsibility that characterize Jordanians and contributes to enhancing the strategic stock of blood units to meet the needs of patients and emergency cases.
He pointed out that the hospital staff, especially those working in the blood bank and laboratories, are constantly working to provide the best medical services according to the highest quality standards to ensure that the needs of patients of different blood types are met.
The head of the laboratory and blood bank department at the hospital, Ghazi Al-Momani, expressed his appreciation for the organizers and supporters of the campaign, noting that the demand for donations reflects the level of community awareness of the importance of these initiatives in saving the lives of patients and injured people.
