DeAndre Kane, the player of the Icelandic champion Grindavík in basketball, was arrested upon his arrival in the United States from Iceland today.
CBS in the United States reports that Kane owes about 100,000 dollars in child support or over 12 million ISK.
The media’s article also states that Kane has been wanted in the United States since 2023 when he failed to appear in court in that country due to the debt.
Kane is currently in police custody and his case is yet to be heard in court.
