A dead woman was discovered walled up in Munich village (Mödling district) last Thursday. The Vienna public prosecutor’s office has ordered an autopsy, said spokeswoman Nina Bussek on Wednesday when asked about a “Today” report. The spokeswoman confirmed an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body. She remained tight-lipped about further details. According to the free newspaper, the decomposed body of a pensioner was buried in concrete in the wall of a house.
The cause and time of death have not yet been determined. The deceased is said to be a woman who would soon have been 100 years old. She was reported missing. The police asked the fire department for assistance in opening an emergency door in the early evening of May 28th, “Heute” reported. According to “Crown newspaper” around the pensioner’s second home, sniffer dogs picked up a trail and led the investigators to a house wall at the exit to the basement. That’s where the body encased in concrete is said to have been found.
Investigations are being carried out in all directions – according to the newspapers, social security fraud is also possible. Accordingly, the woman could have been encased in concrete years ago after a natural death in order to continue receiving her pension.
