BELGRADE – Basketball club Partizan has accepted security guarantees from the United Arab Emirates and will play the matches of the final series of the ABA League in Dubai.
“KK Partizan will start the finals for the defense of the regional championship title from Dubai, and after the two opening games, the series will move to the Belgrade Arena. The ‘Steamroller’ has accepted the security guarantees from the United Arab Emirates, which confirmed that the finals can be played in such a way that no team is in a subordinate position due to non-basketball events,” reads Partizan’s press release.
Partizan further points out that, as the most trophy-winning club in the region, they never chose where to play, and that they always and everywhere fought for honor and victory.
“In the short history of mutual duels, the black-and-whites have not defeated Dubai away from home, but the faith in the black-and-white team says that this streak will also come to an end. The delegation of KK Partizan will go on the road on Tuesday. The first two duels are scheduled for June 4 and 6 in Dubai, after which the final series will move to the Belgrade Arena from June 10,” concludes the announcement of the “black-and-whites”.
The winner of the ABA League will be the club that first reaches three victories.
