During a meeting in Vienna between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Austria, Hemra Amannazarov, and the Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Gerd Müller, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for cooperation.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the meeting focused on the implementation of joint projects aimed at developing green industry, enhancing the competitiveness of the industrial sector, and promoting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The Turkmen ambassador noted the importance of UNIDO’s support in implementing national industrial development initiatives and expanding international cooperation.
The UNIDO Director-General confirmed the organization’s interest in further strengthening cooperation with Turkmenistan and expressed its readiness to expand partnership in priority areas of mutual interest.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their commitment to further developing constructive cooperation and exploring new opportunities for implementing joint projects.
