Sagnia, fourth in the indoor World Championships this spring, was forced to skip the Diamond League meeting in Shanghai a couple of weeks ago due to a back injury. Now she and coach Anders Möller have decided to skip this weekend’s gala at Stockholm Stadium as well.
“Now we can slow down the pace and build up the training slowly. It’s a bit nice not to have the competition gun to our head and have to be ready in three days,” coach Anders Möller tells SVT.
Sagnia, 32, is instead planning to make her outdoor debut at the Swedish Team Championships on June 27.
