From May 16 to June 1, nineteen students from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers completed a professional internship at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
Two faculty members from an Uzbek agricultural university also participated in the internship program, according to “Turkmenistan: Golden Age.”
The foreign guests visited the Hydropark water-lifting station and the Obahyzmat production facility in the Ak Bugday etrap.
Uzbek students also actively participated in lectures and practical classes organized by the faculty of the S.A. Niyazov Tashkent Agricultural University.
The visit program also included excursions to the International Scientific and Technological Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Central Botanical Garden, and the capital’s “Tashkent” park.
Within the framework of the established scientific and humanitarian cooperation between the two universities, a return working visit by faculty and students from the S. A. Niyazov Tashkent Agricultural University to Uzbekistan for an internship is planned for the near future, the source notes.
