“Yerevan Wine Days” is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Within the framework of the jubilee year, the organizers will come up with a variety of programs. On June 5, 6 and 7, Saryan, Tumanyan and Moskovyan streets of Yerevan will again be filled with many types of wine, competition, concerts and interesting cultural events.

“On June 5, at 18:30, I invite everyone to Tumanyan street in Yerevan, from where 100 winemakers will enter the festival area in a big parade. This is a reason to be really proud, because we have the participation of a large number of winemakers, and more than 1000 types of wine will be presented at the festival,” said Mary Badalyan.

The festival will not only revolve around wine, gastrotourism, national clothes, culture will also be emphasized. There will be workshops, master classes and a concert program.
According to Nune Manukyan, co-founder of “EventTura” company, during these 10 years, the festival became one of the key events of event tourism, which brings together wine lovers from different countries around the world.

“During these years, the geography of participation in our festival has expanded so much that they come from the Scandinavian countries, England, Australia, which is very happy for us. We set a goal to make Armenia known as the cradle of wine, after 10 years we can confidently say that we have achieved our goal,” said Nune Manukyan.
The festival is also of great economic importance. The 250 partners involved in the previous festival, not only the winemakers, had a turnover of 2.5 million dollars in three days.
Gosh Sargsyan, Head of Culture and Tourism Department of Yerevan Municipality, noted that “Yerevan Wine Days” is an important part of the cultural face of the capital. This festival, loved and awaited by many, brings great activity to Yerevan, bringing many tourists.

“Yerevan Municipality provides its financial support to the festival, and I am very happy that over the years it has become such an important event, a tourist result that we are very proud to present to our international partners,” said Gosh Sargsyan.
He informed that Yerevan will be quite active at the beginning of June. In addition to “Yerevan Wine Days”, the ballet festival will be held. A large-scale program is expected on June 1, International Children’s Day. Starting from 12:00, many events will be held in Freedom Square, near Swan Lake and along Northern Avenue.
