Dushanbe police called on parents to tighten control over their children during events marking the end of the school year. With appropriate address Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke around the city of Dushanbe.
The department noted that in recent years, during school graduations, there have often been cases of minors getting behind the wheel and driving cars. According to the police, this often leads to traffic accidents, injuries and other tragic consequences.
“In many cases, teenagers gain access to vehicles with the consent or due to the irresponsible attitude of adults,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.
The police reminded that the car is not a means of entertainment or an attribute of a “magnificent prom”, but is a source of increased danger, especially for minors.
In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs called on parents and all citizens to take a responsible approach to the safety of teenagers, compliance with legislation and traffic rules.
“Every parent must understand that the health and safety of children directly depends on the responsibility and attentiveness of adults,” the appeal says.
