    Boujdour Province, May 31, 2026 (SPS) – Today, Sunday, the General Union of Workers of Saguia El Hamra and Oued Eddahab supervised the commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the passing of the martyr President Mohamed Abdel Aziz, in the presence of the President of the Republic and the Secretary-General of the Front, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali.

    The event was also attended by the official of the Secretariat of Political Organization, Mr. Amrbeh Almamy Day, the Prime Minister, Mr. Bachraya Hamoudi Bayon, members of the National Secretariat, the government, the General Staff of the Army, and executives from various national institutions, in addition to the Boujdour state authorities.

    The event began with clear verses from the Holy Quran and the national anthem, followed by a speech by the Governor of Boujdour State, Mrs. Dih Chaddad, in which she welcomed the attendees, emphasizing the virtues of the martyr and the symbolism of effectiveness in fulfilling the covenant of the martyrs.

    In turn, the centrality of political organization, and in a speech on the occasion, she reiterated that commemorating the passing of the martyr Muhammad Abdel Aziz is an opportunity to recall his virtues and his struggle in the history of our struggling people.

    She stressed following the path of the martyr Mohamed Abdel Aziz and the martyrs of the Sahrawi revolution until freedom and independence are achieved.

    On this occasion, the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Front, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali, honored the family of the martyr in gratitude for his long history of struggle in the leadership of the state and the Front.

    The official of the Secretariat of Political Organization, Mr. Amrabeh Al-Mami Al-Day, also honored the martyr’s family with the book “Man of War and Peace,” which reviews the various stages of the history of the martyr President Muhammad Abd, written by the writer and journalist Hama Al-Mahdi.

    The event included artistic performances and intellectual lectures about the martyr President Mohamed Abdel Aziz.

    In this context, the Chairman of the Advisory Council, Mr. Mohamed Lamin Ahmed, gave a lecture entitled “The Administrative and Organizational Path During the Phase of the Late President.”

    For his part, the member of the National Secretariat, the Sahrawi Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Khatri Adoh, gave another lecture on “the political and diplomatic experience,” during which he touched on the most prominent diplomatic and political gains during the period of the martyred president.

    The event also witnessed interventions by the member of the National Secretariat, the Governor of Awsard, Khaira Blahi, the Central Director of the Army’s Political Governorate, Mohamed Oulida, and the Ambassador-designate to Asia, Ibrahim Makhtar, in which they enumerated the qualities and virtues of the martyr President Mohamed Abdel Aziz.
