The race for the crown Miss Universe Panama 2026 it’s already started. The Organization Señorita Panamá, SA. The contest officially began with the first meeting of the 28 candidates who will compete to represent the country on the international stage.
The activity took place during the “Kick Off Weekend”, a three-day event held at the Megapolis Hotel Panama, where the candidates began their comprehensive preparation process and had the opportunity to meet each other for the first time.
As part of the agenda, the participants attended the workshop “Beyond the crown: who you are when no one sees you”taught by clinical psychologist Teresa Rodríguez. The dynamic was focused on strengthening self-esteem, personal identity, empathy and coexistence among the contestants.
As a result of this experience, the candidates developed the first “Miss Universe Panama 2026 Emotional Agreement”, an initiative aimed at promoting an environment of respect, camaraderie and personal growth during the development of the contest.
The candidates also took their first steps on the catwalk under the direction of instructor Rita Silvestre and began the production of the pageant’s image with their first official photo session, carried out by the photographer Douglas Diaz. In addition, they recorded promotional material and shared it with the team of makeup artists and stylists who will accompany them during the competition.
The organization reported that this meeting marks the beginning of a training program that will include training in public speaking, protocol, leadership, general culture and personal image, among other key areas for the preparation of the future representative of Panama.
The 28 candidates will continue their preparation process in the coming weeks before their official presentation to the public.
