“Freedom“. The appeals court of Baku started today the examination of the complaints submitted by the public defenders of 15 Armenian prisoners convicted in the first instance, including the former leaders of Artsakh, the Azerbaijani media reports.
In February, the Baku military court sentenced 16 Armenian prisoners, including the military-political leadership of Artsakh, to life or long imprisonment.
Ruben Vardanyan, whose case was examined in a separate proceeding, refused to appeal the court act.
