London, June 1 (SANA) Former United Kingdom Special Representative for Syria Ann Snow said discussions with Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani focused on progress achieved in relations between the two countries since late 2024.
In a post on X on Monday, Snow described her recent meeting with al-Shaibani in Damascus as productive, saying the two sides reviewed developments in bilateral relations since December 2024.
“I had a good conversation with Minister al-Shaibani during my recent visit to Damascus as the UK’s representative for Syria, and we reviewed the progress made in bilateral relations since December 2024,” Snow wrote.
The meeting took place during Snow’s final visit to Syria before the conclusion of her diplomatic assignment. Al-Shaibani met the British diplomat on May 18 in a farewell meeting and commended her efforts to strengthen and develop relations between Syria and the United Kingdom.
