The National Police captured a Ecuadorian citizen with red notification Interpol and required by the Esmeraldas Criminal Judicial Unit for the crime of evasion.
The subject was arrested in Colombiain Popayán, through the Interpol National Unit, in coordination with its similar unit, OCN Bogotá.
Profile of the detainee and his background
According to the Ministry of the Interior, the man would be an alleged member of the criminal group The Tiguerones and considered Individual of Relevant Criminal Interest (IIPR). He was identified as Cristhian Elian RB
Furthermore, he would have a history of organized crimemurder, reception and robbery, indicated the State portfolio.
It is known that the citizen tried to evade identification with a fake documentbut was later recognized through biometric verification.
He is currently in the custody of the Colombian authorities, awaiting the process of extradition to Ecuador to be brought to justice. (YO)
