The United States ambassador to Panama, Kevin Cabreraheld a meeting this Thursday, April 16, with the president of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CoNEP), Gabriel Diezto address the country’s economic priorities and the role of the private sector in growth.

“Focused on expanding opportunities for American companies, a key priority for President Trump, that generate jobs, investment and growth for both countries,” Cabrera said in his X message.
During the meeting, both parties agreed on the importance of strengthening the relationship between the Panamanian private sector and United States companies, with a view to promoting investment, job creation and bilateral economic development.
Since his arrival in the country, Cabrera has met with the different associations of the business sector and has also visited companies with the participation of American investors.
