Vice-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nan Ni Ni Aye received Mr Kirti Vardhan Singh, Minister of State for External Affairs of the Republic of India, at the Presidential Palace Reception Hall in Nay Pyi Taw on 10 April.
They cordially and openly exchanged views on promoting relations and cooperation between Myanmar and India, including initiatives for the development of the women and youth sectors and the implementation of exchange programmes, study tours and seminars to enhance engagement between the youth of both nations, followed by an exchange of commemorative gifts.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw and other officials, as well as Indian Ambassador Mr Abhay Thakur and embassy officials. — MNA/TH
