Police raided a location in Svay Rieng province and arrested six foreign nationals for online scams.
Chanthaburi district police said that the raid was conducted on Monday, after receiving information from a landlord named Pho De in Chek village, Samrong commune, Chanthaburi district, that his tenants were secretly committing online crimes.
Major General Pech Virak, Provincial Police Commissioner, ordered Lieutenant Colonel Chin Sophoeun, Chanthaburi District Police Inspector, to lead the district’s forces, in cooperation with the district’s Administration Unified Command, and the Provincial Court Prosecutor’s Office, to raid the location where online crimes were being committed.
During the raid, police found six Vietnamese nationals, the suspects, along with the evidence, have been sent to the provincial police station for further legal procedures.
