A 5.0 magnitude earthquake was reported this Wednesday afternoon in much of the territory of Costa Rica.
The earthquake had its epicenter recorded 79.2 km southwest of Frijolar de Santa Cruz de Guanacaste, according to the preliminary report from the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (Ovsicori-UNA).
Its depth was 10 kilometers, according to the report.
Users reported slight movement in different parts of the country such as Heredia center, Tibás, Desamparados, Liberia and Alajuela, Teletica reported.
