GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and more than 10 others injured after two vehicles collided in Azizkala area of Sayedabad district in Maidan Wardak province, police said on Friday.
In a statement, the provincial police headquarters said the accident occurred late Thursday night when a 580-type passenger bus collided with an “Aqua” vehicle on Kabul-Ghazni highway.
The statement added that two people lost their lives in the incident, while more than 10 others sustained injuries.
It further said, without providing additional details, that the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
According to the information, the 580-type passenger vehicle belongs to the Mirwais Nika Transport Company.
