The wife of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Begona Gomez, has been formally charged with corruption after a two-year investigation, according to a court decision made public on Monday.
A judge indicted Ms. Gomez for embezzlement, influence peddling, bribery and misappropriation, according to the April 11 decision.
