“Zhoghovurd” daily newspaper continues to present the assets of the deputies who will not be included in the new parliament of 2026. This time, the reference is to Lena Nazaryan, deputy of the “Civil Contract” faction of the National Assembly. It is noteworthy that Nazaryan will not be in the new parliament, and her husband, the current deputy Narek Babayan, will continue his political activities and will be represented in the new parliament.
Until 2017, he was an activist, after the revolution he became a deputy, and in 2019-2021, he was the deputy speaker of the National Assembly.
The study of Nazaryan’s declarations shows that during the last five years, the amount of real estate in his property has increased, his income has increased significantly, but at the same time, his mortgage obligations have been preserved.
Comparing the declarations of 2021-2025, it can be noted that the number of real estates of Lena Nazaryan increased from two to three when she bought the Tsaghkadzor apartment in 2022. Its annual income increased from 9.4 million drams in 2021 to 14.5 million drams in 2024, and 10.6 million drams in 2025. At the same time, significant mortgage liabilities were preserved, although their total volume gradually decreased from 44.6 million AMD in 2022 to 38.6 million AMD in 2025. Thus, upon leaving the parliament, Lena Nazaryan presented three real estates, more than 3.4 million drams of claims against “Antares” NGO, about 2.3 million drams of bank funds and 38.6 million drams of total mortgage liabilities.
