Friday 3 July: Guided tour of the Casemates

Saturday 4 July: Kinnekswiss loves…
Luxembourg City ⏐ From 3–5 July, the annual Kinnekswiss loves… event, organised by the City, turns the Kinnekswiss park into an open air concert with many well-known performers set to take to the stage, including the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Saturday 4 July: Kids’ day at the Mudam
Luxembourg City ⏐ The Mudam is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is offering visitors free entry to the museum from 1 to 5 July. Each day there will be a unique programme, and Saturday is kids day, with many activities, tours, and workshops taking place. See details of the programme for this five day period here.
Sunday 5 July: Kockeldiko nature festival
Kockelscheuer ⏐ Taking place at the Haus vun der Natur, from 10am until 6pm, the nature activities unit of Luxembourg City’s Education Department is organising a family-friendly nature festival. The event takes place every other year and promises to be a fun day out for the whole family. There will be a plethora of workshops, activities, and games, including the opportunity to have a ride in a horse-drawn carriage. See more details here!
Wednesday 8 July: Water sports equipment rental
Lultzhausen ⏐ In the scenic village of Lultzhausen, you can rent water sports equipment from the youth hostel – a lovely way to explore the beautiful Upper Sûre Reservoir. See details here!
Thursday 9 July: Dudelange summer fair
Dudelange ⏐ From 26 June until 12 July, Dudelange’s summer fair is taking place. Food stalls open at midday, and rides open at 3pm. Thursday 9 July is family day, and you can enjoy reduced prices on rides on this date. See more information here!
Friday 10 July: Kass Haff vegetable market
Rollingen ⏐ Every Friday from April to the end of October, you can enjoy the fruits of Kass Haff Farm’s weekly vegetable market, open from 3pm to 6.30pm. See here for details.
Saturday 11 July: Parent-child workshop
Howald ⏐ This workshop is for parents and their children aged 4–5 years, well-timed to provide an opportunity for reflection as the school year draws to a close, and designed to strengthen the bond between parent and child. Registration is required and places are limited – see information here.
Sunday 12 July: Guided walk
Luxembourg City ⏐ ‘Under the cross of St Andrew’ is the theme for this guided walk which starts at the Luxembourg City Museum and focuses on the political symbols used by the Burgundian and Habsburg princes. See here for more information.
Wednesday 15 July: Parents cafe
Eich ⏐ Organised by D’Eltereschoul, every Wednesday from 3–5.30pm parents and children have an opportunity to get together with others to make new friends and share and exchange ideas and information. See more information here.
Friday 17 July: Guided tour for children
Esch-sur-Alzette ⏐ Children aged six years and older, and their parents, are invited to a child-friendly guided tour giving them the opportunity to explore contemporary art at Konschthal Esch. Taking place from 3–4pm, registration is not required. See here for the details.
Saturday 18 July: Open-air cinema
Elmen ⏐ On Saturday and Sunday this weekend there is an open air cinema organised by the Municipality of Kehlen, in collaboration with Sunset Cinema. Viewings include the film Madagascar and livestreams of Tour de France and the World Cup. Entry is free! See more details here.
Saturday 18 July: Blues’n’Jazz Rallye
Luxembourg City ⏐ The annual, internationally renowned Blues’n’Jazz Rallye will take place in the picturesque setting of the Pfaffenthal, Clausen, and Grund areas, with many well-known musicians performing at this much anticipated festival. Sunday 19 July: Foraging
Junglinster ⏐ Children and adults are invited to spend the morning foraging in nature and learning about wild plants, followed by a debriefing with a plant-based tasting. The meeting point is Bourglinster Castle at 8.45am. See here for more details and to reserve your spot.
Monday 20 July: Art workshop for children
Luxembourg City ⏐ From 10am–12pm children aged 5–12 will have the opportunity to create a colourful fabric crown, using slices of vegetables or herb leaves, and creating jewels for their crown by exploring textures and patterns. Registration is required; see more info here.
Thursday 23 July: Archery for beginners
Beaufort ⏐ On a range of dates throughout July and August, young people aged between 12–17 years old (and adults too!), can take part in an archery course for beginners. Children up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. See all the information here.

Monday 27 July: City open air cinema

Wednesday 29 July: Tours of the Grand Ducal Palace
