The head of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, has confirmed that the party he leads has reached an agreement on political cooperation with Vjosa Osmani for the upcoming elections.
In a statement to the media after the presidency meeting, Abdixhiku announced that the focus of the discussions were the preparations for the elections and the drafting of the list of LDK candidates.
He announced that it has been decided that the General Council of the LDK will be called this Saturday, in order to finalize the electoral preparatory issues.
“Agreement for great union”
Abdixhiku emphasized that one of the main points of the meeting was the idea of a “great union”, confirming that there is an agreement for a joint race with Vjosa Osmani.
“We voted and agreed to formalize from now on, in cooperation with Vjosa Osman, the joint competition in the next elections, but give me a few more days to finalize the discussions”, he said.
