Memory of Fire trilogy by Eduardo Galeano
Memory of Fire…a novel trilogy by the writer Eduardo Galeano, consisting in the order of the parts: Genesis, Faces and Masks, and Horn of the Wind. It is a creative work based on precise documentation, but it moves with complete freedom. It is not known to which literary form the novel trilogy belongs: to narrative, essay, epic poem, history, and testimony.
In the Memory of Fire trilogy, the writer Eduardo Galeano narrates the events that occurred in the twentieth century and reveals the meaning of the new world as it was and the world as it is now, as Eduardo Galeano narrates what happened, the history of America, and above all, the history of Latin America, by trying to do so in a way that makes the reader feel that what happened is happening again when he narrates it.
