The occupants of a vehicle involved in a traffic accident near the Coast Guard Base in Fond Cole on Monday escaped with no major injuries, according to information reaching Dominica News Online (DNO).
The vehicle reportedly overturned onto its side and remained on the roadway following the incident.
DNO has since learned that one woman sustained a fractured finger and was the only occupant reported to have suffered an injury.
The driver of the vehicle was the Deputy Principal of the Dominica Grammar School. Earlier information indicated that the driver had been transported by ambulance to the China Friendship Hospital for medical attention.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the accident remain limited, and it is not immediately clear what caused the vehicle to overturn.
