Morocco recorded 7.7 million tourist arrivals at the end of May 2026, an increase of 7% compared to the same period of 2025, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy.
The Moroccan tourism sector continues its positive dynamic with 1.7 million tourists welcomed in May 2026, an increase of 13% compared to May 2025, specifies the ministry in a press release.
“The tourism sector continues its positive dynamic in 2026. The results recorded confirm the relevance of our strategy which consists of simultaneously investing in connectivity, the offer and the tourist experience,” indicated the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor.
“It is this vision that allows us to maintain a sustainable growth trajectory and strengthen the attractiveness of the Kingdom to travelers from around the world,” underlined Ms. Ammor.
