Direct speech: “For the last two months, Ukrposhta trucks have been blocked by Polish customs, and we are forced to bypass Poland through Hungary and Slovakia (there are no questions for us there) and, in fact, have redirected all our transit flows to bypass Poland. But our clients do not notice this, because we have built alternative routes through other countries.”

Details: Smilyanskyi wrote about this in a post about why President Volodymyr Zelenskyy decided to choose “Nova Poshta” and not “Ukrposhta” to send the Order of the White Eagle to Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
Thus, one of the reasons, according to Smilyanskyi, was that the delivery of “Ukrposhta” on the territory of Poland takes place through Poczta Polska, “and perhaps there were doubts that they would deliver.”
At the same time, the Poles let “Nova Poshta” cars pass, because “Nova Poshta” is an “express operator” and not a state postal operator.
This is exactly what Smilyansky called another possible reason for choosing Novaya Poshta.
“Perhaps OP’s lawyers studied the issue and saw that the forwarding of state awards by Ukrposhta (namely by mail, not by express operators) is strictly prohibited by law and regulations. Nova Poshta is not a post office, but an express operator,” he noted.
What preceded: President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Saturday sent the Order of the White Eagle by “Nova Poshta”. to the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, who had previously decided to deprive the Ukrainian leader of this award.
