Mininguaq Kleist and Nuunu Ludvikka Johansen Jeremiassen are stepping down, while Natuk Lund Meire and Gerth P. Olsen are joining the board.
Arctic Hub that has to aim to create a unified platform for research, education, innovation, business and the surrounding community, is now ready with a new board.
Naalakkersuisoq for Environment, Nature, Energy and Research, Jørgen Rosbach (D), has appointed two new members to Arctic Hub’s board of directors in connection with changes in remit and resignation of a member.
This is stated by Naalakkersuisut in a press release.
– As the new Naalakkersuisoq for Research, I look forward to a good and close collaboration with the Arctic Hub. Arctic Hub provides a central and valuable contribution to research in Greenland and to the population in general. It is positive that the board will soon be full again, so that the work can continue with full force, says Jørgen Rosbach.
The pre-personship alternates between Greenland and Denmark every three years. Greenland is responsible for the period 15 July 2024 – 1 March 2027.

The board has overall responsibility for Arctic Hub’s goals and consists of eight members who represent relevant scientific disciplines within Arctic research as well as actors with relevance for Arctic regions and business.
