Two men are dead following a motorcycle collision on Mahogany Street in Belize City at around 2 o’clock on Sunday morning. According to family reports, the victims are Allan “Biggs” Arnold and Darwin Monroy.
Video footage from the aftermath shows a crowd gathered at the scene. Bystanders were seen rushing to assist, including lifting one of the injured men from the ground.
Police are expected to provide further details that led to the collision on Monday’s press briefing.
Reports indicate that Arnold was not riding his motorcycle at the time of the crash. He was reportedly standing on the sidewalk talking to someone when he was struck.
