Donald Trump said Monday that he did not intend to apologize to Pope Leo XIV, whom he described as “very weak”, the day after strong criticism of the sovereign pontiff.
“Pope Leo made false statements. He was fiercely opposed to what I did regarding Iran, and we cannot accept an Iran with nuclear weapons,” the American president said from Bla House.
