Tripoli’s Security Director, Major General Khalil Wahiba, has held an expanded meeting to review the implementation of security plans in hospitals across the capital.
Senior officers and heads of hospital security units attended, with discussions focusing on key challenges and the readiness of personnel assigned to protect these facilities.
The meeting also addressed coordination between security units and other forces, alongside efforts to strengthen emergency response capabilities.
Wahiba emphasised the need for discipline and compliance with regulations to ensure the safety of medical staff and patients, as part of wider efforts to improve security in healthcare facilities.
